This print combines my two favourite things vintage maps and letterpress type!  Hand printed onto original pages of The Citizen’s Atlas of the World. Printed by John Bartholomew & Son Ltd, Edinburgh & London, 1947. This print illustrates the saying ‘the world is your oyster’ perfectly.

 Continuing my mild obsession with vintage maps I found this old atlas online. With great colours and detail it's a joy to print on.

 This summer one of my letterpress prints was selected to appear in Interrobang! an International Letterpress Exhibition held by Ditchling Museum of Art + Craft and as part of the Village of Type and the Brighton Festival.
